Daily Inspection Before Start-Up
To prolong the service life of your mini excavator and prevent unnecessary breakdowns, perform the following inspection before starting the machine:
1️⃣ Pre-Start Inspection Checklist
Before starting the engine, check:
- Inspect the area around and underneath the machine for:
- Dirt or debris buildup
- Loose bolts or fasteners
- Oil or hydraulic leaks
- Damaged or worn components
- Ensure all switches, indicator lamps, and the fuse box are functioning properly.
- Verify that all work equipment and hydraulic systems operate normally.
- Check engine oil levels and fuel level to ensure they are within proper operating range.
If any issue is detected, the machine must not be started until the problem has been identified and corrected.
Operating Guidelines
A. Travel & Throttle Use
The Wild-Cat WC-011 is designed primarily for excavation and light grading within the immediate job area.
- Avoid long-distance travel whenever possible.
- Do not operate at full throttle for extended travel.
- During extended travel, allow the machine to rest for 5 minutes after every 20 minutes of movement to prevent overheating or damage to the travel motor.
B. Soft or Wet Ground
Avoid operating the excavator in:
- Soft soil
- Wetland areas
- Muddy ground conditions
These conditions may cause the machine to sink or become unstable.
C. Obstacles
When traveling, avoid large obstacles such as:
- Large rocks
- Debris
- Uneven terrain
Obstacles may cause undercarriage damage or loss of balance.
D. Water Depth
Do not operate the excavator in water exceeding the manufacturer’s recommended depth limit.
Working in excessive water depth may cause serious damage to hydraulic and engine components.
