Shipping Terms & Delivery Policy

At Discount Equipment, we are committed to providing fast, secure, and professional delivery of all equipment, parts, and attachments across Canada and the USA.

  1. Order Processing
  • Orders are processed within 24–72 business hours after full payment is received. 
  • A shipping confirmation and tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched. 
  • Processing times may vary during peak seasons or high-volume periods. 
  1. Shipping Methods
  • Courier Shipments: Small to medium orders are shipped via trusted carriers such as Purolator
  • Freight Shipments: Heavy or oversized orders are shipped via LTL freight carriers

 

  1. Weight & Handling Policy
  • All shipments are subject to a minimum 60 lb shipping threshold
  • Orders exceeding 60 lbs may be split into multiple parcels, with shipping charges applied to each parcel. 
  • Orders exceeding 100 lbs must be shipped on a skid (pallet) for safe transport. 
  • For pallet shipments, customers must contact us directly to arrange freight shipping or pickup. 
  1. Shipping Rates & Charges
  • Shipping costs are calculated based on: 
    • Delivery location (postal/ZIP code) 
    • Total weight and dimensions 
    • Shipping method (courier vs freight) 
  • Additional charges may apply for: 
    • Residential delivery 
    • Liftgate service 
    • Remote or rural locations 
  1. Delivery Timeframes
  • Standard delivery: 2–5 business days (regional) 
  • Extended delivery areas: 3–10 business days 
  • Freight delivery timelines vary depending on carrier and destination 

Note: Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  1. Freight Delivery Requirements
  • Customers are responsible for: 
    • Ensuring the delivery site is accessible for freight trucks 
    • Providing unloading equipment (e.g., forklift) if required 
  • If no unloading equipment is available, a liftgate service must be requested in advance (additional charges apply) 
  1. Damaged, Missing, or Lost Shipments
  • All shipments must be inspected upon delivery 
  • Any visible damage must be: 
    • Noted on the delivery receipt 
    • Reported within 48 hours of delivery 
  • Failure to report damage within this timeframe may void any claim 
  • Claims are subject to carrier investigation and approval 
  1. Order Pickup
  • Local pickup is available by appointment only 
  • Orders must be paid in full prior to release 
  • Valid ID may be required at time of pickup 
  1. Ownership & Risk of Loss
  • Ownership and responsibility for goods transfer to the customer once the shipment leaves our facility 
  • We are not liable for delays caused by: 
    • Shipping carriers 
    • Weather conditions 
    • Customs or cross-border processing 
    • Unforeseen logistical issues 
  1. Important Notice
  • Shipping policies are subject to change without notice 
  • By placing an order, the customer agrees to all shipping terms outlined above
